About St. Francis High School

Just minutes from downtown Milwaukee, our school overlooks beautiful Lake Michigan in the Southeast corner of the City of St. Francis.  We are home to nearly 525 students and 45 professional educators!  St. Francis High School (Home of the Mariners) offers students a quality comprehensive curriculum, competitive athletic programs, dedicated support networks and a variety of other clubs and activities.  St. Francis provides a unique opportunity for both students who live in St. Francis and students from the surrounding area.  We are considered a choice school because so many of our students choose to come to us through the open enrollment program.  St. Francis High School is an attractive choice for many students and families because of our size and our ability to make a true commitment to the individual student.

About Our Students

The students at St. Francis High School have the opportunity to choose from a wide variety of course offerings.  In addition to the core curriculum, students have the opportunity to select classes that coincide with their future goals.  The vast majority of our students choose to attend four-year university after high school, but many others proudly attend technical colleges, are participating in respected entrepreneurship programs or are serving our country in respected branches of the military.  In order to meet the needs of our diverse group of students, St. Francis High School combines a college preparatory curriculum with the value and appreciation for the need to maintain a quality career and technical education program.

About Our Parents & Families

The active and positive involvement of our parents is a critical component to our success as a school community.  Whether it be supporting student success by calling your child's individual teacher with a question or concern, volunteering time during the day or serving as an active member of the St. Francis High School Booster Club or the Music Boosters, our parents' efforts contribute to the support of our students and help us provide improved services to our entire school community.
